m on blog 45: Efforts, Expansion And Success

Image
You wouldn't expect to be given a trophy or medal in a sports competition unless you earned it. In a way, life is no different - and we often get tested more than once on the same lesson before we're rewarded. Why? So the Universe can ensure we're genuinely aligned to the person we say we are. Are you a true match to the frequency you claim?  To illustrate this, I'll use an example from when I was in school. There was a time when all the students in my class sat a test and scored highly. However, th te teacher didn't seem convinced because many students gave similar answers. So, a week later, he surprised us with another exam using different questions based on the same topics. He said that these were the marks that would count.  The students who understood the subject area well still managed to keep the same grades, even if their test scores were lower. Nevertheless, the few who cheated on the test drastically dropped marks. It became clear which pupils understood ...

m on blog 44: Past And Perfect

He remember her repeatedly telling him, "I'm not perfect." It struck him a little because there he was gleefully embracing the moment with such a beautiful person, which to him was nothing short of perfection. But he knew what she was referring to; the same self- perceived flaws we all have. In a spiritual sense, we are the essence of infinite potential - boundless perfection that is supreme in every way. Yet, we often believe something is wrong with us because we identify strongly with transitory parts of our existence - like our physical body, emotions and experiences.  We confuse who we are with what we perceive through our senses. Often, we say, "What's wrong with me?" or "Why am I broken?" But a more appropriate question would be to ask, "What has happened in the past to make me feel like something is wrong with me?"  It's hard to recognize your brilliance when you've learned that you're not enough or...

The way Shushant played his part and tried to imbibe the message that losers also have a place in society and they can also live a life with keeping their heads high made me his fan. Never thought, The man who was asking us to enjoy this life and making us realize that We're So Lost in Thinking About Winning, Losing, Success, Failure ...That, We Have ...

m on blog 42; Life And Love

Love is not negotiable. Love is a guessing game and that's the beauty of it. There is no guarantees, it's like... diving into a pool of water without knowing if it's shallow or deep And sure if it's shallow you end up hurt and paralyzed  from the neck down but if it's deep.... you know..., It's a leap of faith, its like throwing yourself out there without any guarantee. And that's what life's about. Okay, you know those carnival games and you know how some of them are really hard to win and some of them are super easy and everyone wins? Well, love is the game that's really hard to win.  But if you do, and you get to take home that life-sized stuffed teddy, it feels a whole lot better than taking home. Love isn't passive, it's an action- a daily choice. What I Believe:- But the most important kind of love is the kind we most often neglect: self love. We give that up in desperate search for love from someone else, and los...

m on blog 41; How To Deal With Failure

Image
Success and Failure are an important part of our lives. There are times when things don’t go the desired way and we call this as Failure. This is the only phase that teaches us many things. It helps us to know the reality of the surrounding people, the people we trust. Steps to Deal with Failure:- 1 .  You should Have faith in Yourself and you have to believe it’s just a temporary period. 2 .  In this phase we tend to develop a negative notion (perspective) towards life and develop an over thinking attitude. So, just stop thinking too much, only concentrate on your goals. There should be Nothing in your mind except your Goals . 3 .  Try to analyze where are you going wrong. What are the things coming your way, just try to find out and start working on it. 4 .  Sometimes we develop a fake world around ourselves and start finding excuses in everything. Remember one thing If there is anyone between Success and Failure then it is You , neithe...

m on blog 40; 3 Steps to become a writer

Image
Want to write a story on your life, a poem for your loved ones but don’t know where to start. I have an article ready for you.   Most of us feel that a story, a novel can be written on our life and I believe we are on the same page and agree with this point. The thing that stops us is the word “how”. Writing is neither an easy nor a difficult task, it all depends on your determination and interest (as usual ) but these are not the basic ingredient to become a writer infact determination and your interest are like salt we use while making vegetables. And before that we need something   and what are those things. Let’s see.       1.      You need to be thinker first just thinker nothing else (that’s not a difficult job right?? And I know   we all are perfect   in it). You have to imagine things you are going to write. 2.        You need to have a strong vocabulary of the language in which ...

m on blog 38;The Intolerance

Image
So,A few months ago, some of us came to know about the word intolerance,I was wondering and curious to know about the root of this special word that led many to return their prestigious awards and marked the begining of a tradition, of returning the Hard Earned awards. Intolerance is unwillingness to let other people act in a different way but really we, Indians have become so much intolerant towards our fellow compatriots that these so called intellectuals are returning their awards ?? This was not just my question or thinking but many like me were pondering over this. Then I found out the reason how this difficult pronouncing word upsurged in the market and the one who or rather which were responsible are  the words Ghar Wapsi (Home Coming), Beef ban (These two are some other topic for some another day) . And irony is that In reality(what I could see from my surrounding) there were nothing like intolerance,Ghar Wapsi ,Beef ban.All these were markete...

That spacious two bedroom apartment at the third floor was shared by 4 young women. None of us knew each other before; online hunt for an accommodation in a metro city brought us together. It's been a month, everything was good and we were still getting to know each other & the city. That was a Sunday night; we went straight to bed around 12.30 am after roaming around the city and a late night dinner. Our room had two queen size cots, in between the two cots were a small coffee table and a chair. When I rolled over amidst sleep I saw my roommate sitting on the chair, she had her hands supported on the coffee table. I checked the time on my mobile in the dark, it was 02:30 am. I asked her what is she doing at the middle of the night and fell back to sleep even before I got a reply. Next day was a typical Monday morning. We all got up late and rushed to work. After a long day I reached home around 09:00 pm, one of the flat mates was watching TV, other two were yet to arrive...

m on blog 36; "Earn Through Facebook"

Image
You can earn $7 per hour or $13.5 per hour depending on where you are located. No upfront money required. Let me show you how. Remember this Facebook pic of a Napalm girl removed by Facebook on September last year? That’s right. Facebook’s algorithm detected this pic and removed it thinking it was child porno! How ridiculous ! It was only after massive outcry that Facebook let users’ re-post this iconic image. My point being - Social media like Facebook needs human evaluators in-spite of its nerdy algorithms. Algorithms couldn’t detect whether that image was a porno or not. It couldn’t understand its historical significance. That’s where humans comes in to play. That’s where Social Media Evaluators and Social Media Moderators comes into play. And you my friend can be one of them right after you finish reading this post. Let’g go a little deeper in to these two positions, shall we? SOCIAL MEDIA EVALUATORS Social Media Evaluators are people who evaluate s...

“You don’t have the right to end the life who is yet to see this world..” this was the Judge’s last statement .     Compassion ,it seems has no place in the corridors of power dominated solely by electoral considerations. Nothing else perhaps can explain the plight of the 14 yr old rape survivor of Bareily who lost the legal battle to abort her unwanted child. I am not here to oppose or support the judgement .May be the Judgement is right as we don’t have the right to kill someone but can we imagine the challenges that the girl will face who even don’t know how to feed herself. Her tale is poignant and powerful enough to melt hearts: Just imagine a young unwed mother saddled with the onerous task of bringing up a child in a poor family that struggles to feed its members. For say we have the government , a no. of NGOs, the society to help her but we better know how she will be treated by them. When a soldier give his life fighting for the country , When ...

Is money everything  ?? A question to ponder…..!! let me share a story which one of our faculty shared with us.   What will you do when someone pay  you for sitting idle..??  He asked.. And everyone answered  the same  ,”We will accept the offer and whomsoever will decline is the fool of the century.” He laughed hearing our answer and said never accept the offer which pays you for doing nothing. We were surprised seeing his reaction.. He continued ,Money is not everything in life though it is not EVEN LESS than everything but there are situations in life when it does not matter at all. Coming back to the question.. you all are pondring over ,why we should reject the offer. Everyone is born with or earn talent  which remains with us till the time we are using it somewhere.. and when we are not in practice ,it will get useless and lost. How..?? ryt. He said Just imagine a situation ,you are a d...

m on blog 32 ;" A day in a Train "

Train journeys in India have always fascinated me. A 24 hour drive on any route, in any direction, and you savor your senses with every sight that this country has to offer. From bucolic country-sides to sedative garbage dumps – you get to see it all. Not to mention, a variety of interesting people, you meet on the way who challenge the ambiguity of an Indian mind, its awkwardness, or better put, its ludicrously confusing state – every minute.   I am writing this as I struggle to grab myself from an arresting view of open farmlands, perfectly beautified by a group of silent, comely hills in the backdrop (near Mumbai) – something far more magical than the open skies of an airplane’s window. And only a few seconds later the landscape changes into an almost dried, soundless river, with a couple of fishing boats in it – battling to acquire their routine dinner. Suddenly I realised that this is nothing. I’ve still got a lot more to see and a plenty more to experience – as in...

Today, we can’t imagine ourselves without technological advances such as cars, microwaves, cell phones, computers, and televisions. However, technology won’t stop here, but develop further.     As technology develops, there are not only advantages, but disadvantages from them. A few advantages of upgraded technology are that one can save time and money and life will be made easier as a result of not having to do all the hard labor. In contrast, the disadvantages of upgraded technology are that people will loose their jobs to machines that will do the work for them. In addition, machines and robots are too complex for most people to use. I personally would want a developed world with advanced technologies. The following are the reasons why I do want a more advanced world with advanced technologies. My major reason is because when you have advanced technologies, life is much easier as robots and machines would take over your daily life chores. For example, daily life ...

Friends, I got to meet a man from Germany (touring India).Seeing the diversity and the rituals , he was curious to know ,why we the people in India follow these.... Joining Both Palms Together To Greet In Hindu culture, people greet each other by joining their palms – termed as “Namaskar.” The general reason behind this tradition is that greeting by joining both the palms means respect. However, scientifically speaking, joining both hands ensures joining the tips of all the fingers together; which are denoted to the pressure points of eyes, ears, and mind. Pressing them together is said to activate the pressure points which helps us remember that person for a long time. And, no germs since we don’t make any physical contact! Why Do Indian Women Wear Toe Ring image courtesy Wearing toe rings is not just the significance of married women but there is science behind it. Normally toe rings are worn on the second toe. A particular nerve from the second toe connects the uterus...
