“You don’t have the right to end the life who is yet to see this world..” this was the Judge’s last statement .     Compassion ,it seems has no place in the corridors of power dominated solely by electoral considerations. Nothing else perhaps can explain the plight of the 14 yr old rape survivor of Bareily who lost the legal battle to abort her unwanted child. I am not here to oppose or support the judgement .May be the Judgement is right as we don’t have the right to kill someone but can we imagine the challenges that the girl will face who even don’t know how to feed herself. Her tale is poignant and powerful enough to melt hearts: Just imagine a young unwed mother saddled with the onerous task of bringing up a child in a poor family that struggles to feed its members. For say we have the government , a no. of NGOs, the society to help her but we better know how she will be treated by them. When a soldier give his life fighting for the country , When a farmer

Is money everything  ?? A question to ponder…..!! let me share a story which one of our faculty shared with us.   What will you do when someone pay  you for sitting idle..??  He asked.. And everyone answered  the same  ,”We will accept the offer and whomsoever will decline is the fool of the century.” He laughed hearing our answer and said never accept the offer which pays you for doing nothing. We were surprised seeing his reaction.. He continued ,Money is not everything in life though it is not EVEN LESS than everything but there are situations in life when it does not matter at all. Coming back to the question.. you all are pondring over ,why we should reject the offer. Everyone is born with or earn talent  which remains with us till the time we are using it somewhere.. and when we are not in practice ,it will get useless and lost. How..?? ryt. He said Just imagine a situation ,you are a doctor and one hires you and pays y

So its been a long time since the last post ,life is something you can’t run away from though I tried to and failed…!! Rakshabandhan , a festival celebrated in india remarking the love , the bond between brothers and sisters, is around the corner. So let me dedicate this blog for all those loving sisters and the naughty brothers….!!   There is nothing more precious than having a sister who is always there for you .Sisterly love is something which can’t be defined , she can be like a mother at times showering lots of love and not to forget she is someone who is always ready to fight be it for a Dairymilk or the pocket money…lol..!! When it comes in acting ,she is an actress by birth that can lead you get scolded by mumma/papa…. she is nothing less than a princess for them. She is someone who is having the ability to take care of everyone from childhood, she is someone who understands life before us. She is the person with whom you can share your secrets, not matte

Train journeys in India have always fascinated me. A 24 hour drive on any route, in any direction, and you savor your senses with every sight that this country has to offer. From bucolic country-sides to sedative garbage dumps – you get to see it all. Not to mention, a variety of interesting people, you meet on the way who challenge the ambiguity of an Indian mind, its awkwardness, or better put, its ludicrously confusing state – every minute.   I am writing this as I struggle to grab myself from an arresting view of open farmlands, perfectly beautified by a group of silent, comely hills in the backdrop (near Mumbai) – something far more magical than the open skies of an airplane’s window. And only a few seconds later the landscape changes into an almost dried, soundless river, with a couple of fishing boats in it – battling to acquire their routine dinner. Suddenly I realised that this is nothing. I’ve still got a lot more to see and a plenty more to experience – as in the

Today, we can’t imagine ourselves without technological advances such as cars, microwaves, cell phones, computers, and televisions. However, technology won’t stop here, but develop further.     As technology develops, there are not only advantages, but disadvantages from them. A few advantages of upgraded technology are that one can save time and money and life will be made easier as a result of not having to do all the hard labor. In contrast, the disadvantages of upgraded technology are that people will loose their jobs to machines that will do the work for them. In addition, machines and robots are too complex for most people to use. I personally would want a developed world with advanced technologies. The following are the reasons why I do want a more advanced world with advanced technologies. My major reason is because when you have advanced technologies, life is much easier as robots and machines would take over your daily life chores. For example, daily life chores mi

Friends, I got to meet a man from Germany (touring India).Seeing the diversity and the rituals , he was curious to know ,why we the people in India follow these.... Joining Both Palms Together To Greet In Hindu culture, people greet each other by joining their palms – termed as “Namaskar.” The general reason behind this tradition is that greeting by joining both the palms means respect. However, scientifically speaking, joining both hands ensures joining the tips of all the fingers together; which are denoted to the pressure points of eyes, ears, and mind. Pressing them together is said to activate the pressure points which helps us remember that person for a long time. And, no germs since we don’t make any physical contact! Why Do Indian Women Wear Toe Ring image courtesy Wearing toe rings is not just the significance of married women but there is science behind it. Normally toe rings are worn on the second toe. A particular nerve from the second toe connects the uterus

Friends, I read it somewhere and I couldn't resist myself sharing it with you..!! A teacher, after  dinner , started checking the homework done by  her students. Her husband was strolling around with a smart phone , playing his favourite game ‘Candy Crush Saga’ .When reading the last note, she started crying and tears overflowed...     Her husband saw this and asked, ‘Why are you crying dear? What happened?’ She: Yesterday I gave homework to my 1st standard students, to write something on topic - 'My Wish' Husband: OK, but why are you crying? She: ‘Today, while checking the last note, it is making me crying' Husband (curiously): ‘What is  written in the note, that makes you cry?’ She: Listen to this, "My wish is to become a smart phone. My parents love smart phone very much. They care smart phone so much that sometimes they forget to take care of me. When my father comes from office, tired, he has time for smart phone but not for me.
