m on blog 40; 3 Steps to become a writer

Want to write a story on your life, a poem for your loved ones but don’t know where to start. I have an article ready for you.

Most of us feel that a story, a novel can be written on our life and I believe we are on the same page and agree with this point. The thing that stops us is the word “how”.

Writing is neither an easy nor a difficult task, it all depends on your determination and interest (as usual ) but these are not the basic ingredient to become a writer infact determination and your interest are like salt we use while making vegetables.

And before that we need something  and what are those things. Let’s see.

      1.     You need to be thinker first just thinker nothing else (that’s not a difficult job right?? And I know  we all are perfect  in it). You have to imagine things you are going to write.

2.      You need to have a strong vocabulary of the language in which you want to write. (Here strong     vocabulary doesn’t mean you need to mug up the oxford dictionary)   With the passage of time you     will automatically excel in this.

So, how to have a strong  vocabulary ? As I wrote before you don’t need to mug up any dictionary, just start reading newspapers, novels, poems and anything you love and you are interested in. Here one suggestion I would like to give , Read only that thing which you want to write, if you want to write an article then read newspapers, if you want to write a novel then read novels and similarly if you want to write a poem then read  poems. It will help you learn how to write and what to write along with the vocabulary.

3.   The most important thing – Courage and Patience .  After doing a great hardwork  in writing your     piece , you have to overcome the fear of what people will think (“ Log Kya kahenge ” ).
The day you will overcome this , you will become a “Half Writer :P”.

Coming to Patience, As usual in our life a phase comes where we can’t do anything but just watch , similarly in a writer’s life there are times when you don’t find a publisher for your work , critics you have to listen, sometimes you don’t get topics to write and you just have to wait.

What I Believe:-

So, I believe if you follow these things, you can write what you think and publish your life story as a novel and remember “Nothing is Impossible”. More over if you want to add something , you are welcome.

I am also learning to write and will be happy if you will help me improve.
